The space
Mountain style apartment, warm, wood on the walls and ceiling. Bright living room with bay window, breathtaking views of the Meije and glaciers.
Your accommodation includes:
A room of life: With more than 30m2, the room of life (living room / dining room, corner cooks) is vast enough for a flat mountain. The omnipresence of the wood, both on the walls and on the ceiling, ensures a warm environment. The lounge area is bright thanks to a large bay window with views of the mountains. In winter or between seasons, an open fire is at your disposal (wood not provided).
The rooms: The apartment is composed of two small functional rooms equipped with a double bed 140 * 190.
Each of the rooms communicate with the balcony. Numerous storage spaces are also available.
The bathrooms: Two shower rooms and a separate toilet are at your disposal. A washing machine can also be used when needed.
The mountain corner: For children or friends, a mountain area recalls the atmosphere "refuge" of a bedding layer of 2 * 2 beds (each double-bed is 160 * 190)
The cellar: A closed cellar is also at your disposal to store your skis or your surfs in winter or your mountain bike in summer.
Other things to note
Sheets and towels are not provided but can be requested extra
The neighborhood
The village of VENTELON -located at 1800m altitude facing the Meije- is part, as well as Les Terrasses, Le Chazelet or Les Hières, these typical villages above la Grave village.
Its balcony position, facing south, guarantees exceptional sunshine and a clear view of the Meije, the Rateau and the many glaciers.
Come and discover how pleasant it is to walk in the narrow streets of the village, admire the banal oven or the wash house, the traditional houses and, further, its chapel.
The apartment is located on the edge of the village
From the village it is easy to visit the other hamlets on a relatively flat route; only the visit to Chazelet will require climbing some laces (by road or GR). Hikers can from the magnificent Lac du Goléon, climb to the Glacier Lombard for the bravest.
La Grave is a beautiful village located 1500m above sea level, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France.
Far from the architecture of modern resorts, La Grave has kept its authenticity, with its 11th century church and traditional houses.
You will find all the necessary shops and services.
